We came to see that So many poor urban and rural youth out of formal education living below the standard of livelihood capable to dance, sing and acts. We have received a program since 1997 and have been providing training on Native culture ( Foke song called Bowl Gaan), perform dance at stage and bar, acting at dramatic stage and visual media with non-formal education. They become self-employed and also been changed their living standard. No need loan from Govt., bank or NGOs for them. Only training, positive environment, instrument support, guide and small fund would be sufficient. PEO extensively uses the folk medium and local folk’s cultural performers (singers, village bard and actors) for promoting development messages. PEO found it to be a very effective means for communicating development messages. For the purpose, PEO staff sits with local performers and give the performers the key messages and help them include these messages in their songs and performances. Then these performances are enacted before village gatherings. The PEO has been managing the actor, singer and dancer group. Its relevant group also benefited through this activities. Because, they are being dignifying, getting invitation from various places with demand money and can go abroad also.
