Plant is oxygen factory and tools to safer environment & climate. Without it man cannot live. Gazipur is a land of forest. Now days, the Vowel area of Gazipur district has lost its natural beauty. There is no big forest area, river been dried and natural depravation are friend of the people. After our attained Independent Bangladesh the government had influenced the people for managing trees in every where. For the reestablishment of natural beauty and to share with the development activities of the government, PEO have received a social forestry project in 1994. The Department of Forest Extension kindly had allowed “Road Side Plantation Program-RSPP” for one kilometer collaboration with the PEO in the 1994-1995 financial year. PEO hade received assistance to extend this project from the Department of Social Services, Department of Forest, Department of Agriculture Extension and the Department of Youth Development also. PEO provided training to the beneficiaries group about this project and distributes tree to group members and to villagers also. PEO arranges orientation, training, expose visit under this project. Bangladesh Television focuses some song like “ailo re vai ashar mas……. Gache gache jogra kore , mula bashi kar” in the Mati o Manus Program. For motivational work PEO created a singer group. This song was composed by PEO which firstly focused in words. PEO desired that it is major focused of poverty reducing activities.
