In our country the people have been suffering form nutrition due to lake of vegetable and protein. For protein demand PEO cultivates fish in Gazipur district. In the district have fellow ponds. So that, PEO has taken fish cultivation project from its beginning to meet up protein demand and earn currency. PEO started this program through the organizational expenditure. PEO has been providing training about aqua culture to the youth group for their self employment. Department of youth Development, Department of Fisheries and the Department of Agriculture Extension have been providing their assistance to render this program cordially. In Gazipur district 450 government ponds was fallow. Now a days 245 ponds are leased by the government to the youth organization out of them PEO leased 9 ponds (1150 decimal) for a short term. In a seminar the department of fisheries kindly has declared to give us more ponds as per our need PEO would be render this program if could arrange suitable environment and support from the government and donor. PEO always has been inviting others to demonstrate this project and to get assistance.
